Some good news

Some Good news finally, I have an appointment Friday October 25 to see a surgeon. Now that was like pulling teeth….remember I told you to be….. “Your own Advocate!”. My wife was on the phone all afternoon. She was a MAD Momma Bear. She called the clinic, the HMO, and head of patient care….basically anyone on the clinics phone directory. Well at 4pm we got a call and an appointment. Squeaky wheel does get the oil.  =)

I wanted to thank my friend and offensive line coach of 23 years, Kevin Haugh, for putting this web site together for me. Isn’t it great. Now that’s a labor of love! I may have to let him win the Movie trivia game now …..maybe not….(Staff Joke)…..I always won.

I wanted you all to know that my TE and kicking coach of many wars and great friend, Dennis Haughn, is also in a battle. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. You can send him a note at  djhaughn@fairwaycanyon.org

Just an FYI….My daughter Jessica, who is the Head Woman’s Volleyball Coach at Hope International in Anaheim, and her team just broke into the top 25 in the nation @ #24. That is an incredible achievement! When she took that Job 7 years ago….I think they won 3 games. Now comes the hard part…I can tell her from experience….Staying there. =)

I was really excited when the Redlands Terriers won back that Smudge Pot a few weeks back! God I loved those games. Win or lose, the Terriers played hard. So many memories. That 95 yard pass by Jimmy, my son, in 2012 will always be a special one. BTW we won that one as well….=)

Well my finger is cramping up…..Yep I type with one finger….Yes I’m old school….I can’t wait until I see the doctor on Friday. Take care until next time….Jim
