Post Halloween….

Pictures speak louder than a thousand words….they don’t lie. Those pictures on the previous post show the procedure the Dr took, and those were very small lesions.  The best comment I received was from a teacher at RHS. She stated this blog got her to set up an appointment with her Dr. to check a mole. If that’s all I get from this endeavor I’d be very happy. Protect yourself and your love one’s from the sun!

I want to thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers.

Step 2- I will go to the DR. later next week. She will take the stiches out. We will go over the pathology report from the lab. Depending on the depth of the tumor, we will decide if I need any further biopsies or treatments. Let’s hope for the best!

I’m a little sore….maybe more than a little….=)….Thank goodness for those little white pills….=)

When I went to recovery, there was Miguel Olmedo and Mary waiting for me….they both put positive spins on my stiches…..”Perfect cover for Halloween!”

I start my Lovenox Shots today(six over the next 4 days), bridging back onto Coumadin. Boy I can’t wait…..=)

When I started coaching at RHS back in 1991. I met Jack and Marilyn Lake. Marilyn was the Athletic Secretary and Jack became my first equipment man. Jack was retired Navy, the perfect guy for the job. They sent me a nice note from somewhere in the Pacific on a cruise ship. I’m hoping it was a cruise ship, but you never know with Jack, maybe a destroyer or frigate.

Well it’s TGIF! The end of another week and today’s post….=)…Talk soon….Jim
